Introduction
Business Computer Training Institute (BCTI),in association with the Australian Institute of Business (AIB), awarding body, are inviting students from Ireland and around the world the opportunity to come to Dublin city to study for their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA). We will be offering a choice of two Bachelor Degrees – BBA Generic and BBA specializing in Marketing.
This full-time Bachelor Course is perfect for all students with a focus on a future business and management career or with a desire to progress to a Masters level in management and business. During the course, students will have the opportunity to develop and advance their knowledge and skills while preparing to operate at the highest levels of management and business. Students will also face the ever-demanding challenges of modern management and business and be confronted with opportunities to show their ability to analyze, problem-solve, think strategically, innovate, drive change and create positive business outcomes. It is a challenging course for students and excellent career-changing opportunity.
Course Structure
- The Course is a full-time, three-year study programme with a minimum of 16 hours per week over a 37 week semester, year leading to the award of Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA).
- The course will commence with intakes in JANUARY, MARCH and SEPTEMBER of every year.(Flexible intakes outside these periods are also available on demand)
- Over the three years students must accumulate a credit rating of 240 points in order to be awarded the BBA.
- The course structure is made up of core subjects (mandatory), integrated projects, specialization subjects and elective subjects with the breakdown as follows:
- Core Subjects: 80 Credit points / Integrated Projects 20 Credit points and specialisation and elective subjects accounting for 140 Credit points.
- We will be offering students a choice of two BBA courses – BBA Generic and BBA specializing in Marketing.
- The flexibility of the BBA course for students offers the opportunity of various Exit points and additional Certification stages as the course progresses. The Diploma of Management is obtained after the completion of 6 modules.
- The Associate Degree in Management is obtained after the completion of 12 modules and finally the BBA award after final completion of all the modules making up the 240 Credit points.
Course Entry Requirements
- Experience within the Business sector will be a great advantage
- Or Higher Certificate in Business and Management or Diploma in Business Administration and/or Business Management.
- Minimum academic entry requirements for Irish students will be at least 2 Higher Level C3s and 4 passes at Ordinary level in the Irish Leaving Certificate structure and a High School Diploma qualification.
- For all International students along with an English language Proficiency Certificate where English is not the mother tongue.
- The minimum English requirement for the course is an IELTS score rating of 6.0, or TOFEL (IBL) level of 78 or TOFEL (CBT) level of 183 or TOFEL (paper) level of 550.
