Category 1
The information in this section is intended for those who do not need a Transit VISA. The application process can be summarised briefly as follows:
1. Students should submit a completed BCT Application Form along with the following documentation by post or email to JLIB_HTML_CLOAKING :
- Proof of Educational Qualifications
- Copy of Student’s Passport
- Police Clearance Document
2. If the application is successful the Institute will send the student a “Letter of Invitation” (Offer Letter) confirming acceptance for the course and itemising the cost of tuition fees. The price includes the cost of Medical Insurance (which is mandatory).
3. Once the Offer Letter has been received the student can start making arrangements for the tuition fees to be sent to the Institute. If paying from overseas the funds can be transferred electronically to the Institute’s Bank Account. (Bank Details can be found on the Offer Letter). If paying by Bank Draft, this may take some time to clear into the Institute Bank Account.
4. As soon as the tuition fees have been received, the Institute will issue the student a receipt, and a “Letter of Acceptance” confirming Course details, start date, payment of tuition fees, Medical insurance and Accommodation (if requested by student).
5. Once the student receives the receipt and the “Letter of Acceptance”, he/she must then make the necessary travel arrangements and inform the Institute as soon as possible, confirming flight numbers and times of arrival in Dublin, Ireland. If accommodation is required, the Institute can arrange this at student’s request (payment for accommodation must be paid when tuition fees are being paid).

This allows the student time to select where they wish to live during their studies. Once the student arrives at Dublin Airport, Immigration Officials will stamp their passport with the VISA, having checked the authenticity of the Institute letter and verified your details with the Institute directly.
7. When the student arrives in Dublin, they will be met at Dublin Airport by a Institute representative (if requested).
