Pre-orientation Programme

Kick off your experience by joining us on the pre-orientation programme. Get to know your surroundings by beginning your year abroad with a full orientation led by your resident director.

There will be extensive orientation activities during your first two weeks and activities vary between the fall and spring semesters. Regardless of the semester, essential information regarding the institute and course registration is provided during the orientation period.

Welcome pack guide

The International Welcome Pack guide is a detailed document that assists commencing international students with the transition to life and study at BCT Institute. Also there are loads of information sessions, exciting events and heaps of opportunities to meet students, staff, and establish new friendships.

All commencing Study Abroad and Exchange students are expected to attend the festival held approximately one week before the start of class.

Study abroad and Exchange activities

In addition to the activities available through the International Welcome Festival, a specially coordinated calendar of events is organised for Study Abroad and Exchange students.

Events include: welcome cruise, Paintball, Botanic Gardens, Irish football matches, and other events in and around Dublin. Some events are seasonal and vary throughout the year.
