BCT Institute has collected the below information to help students stay informed with policies procedures and news happening at BCT.

Summer Holidays
ICCS Students will be off from the 4th June 2010 until the 6th September 2010.
IDCS Students will be off from the 13th June 2010 until the 31st August 2010.
IADCS Students will be off from the 9th June 2010 until the 31st August 2010.
Human Resource Development Students will be off from the 5th August 2010 until the 16th November 2010.
Student Letters
Please note the all Student Letters take a period of 3-4 days to be processed. Students can apply for all letters by filling in the request form at the office in reception.
Visa Extension Letter
If you are still studying your course but your Visa is about to expire you need to apply for a visa extension. To apply for a visa extension you must get a letter from BCT Institute confirming that you are at present studying with us.
Holiday Letter
When a student is on an official holiday break from the course they are studying they may wish to get a holiday letter from the Institute to show their employers.
General Verification Letter
A General Verification letter simply confirms that you are a student of BCT Institute and studying with the Institute at present.
Re-Entry Visa
Students who leave Ireland for a period of time during their year of study may need to apply for a re-entry visa letter.
PPS Letter
International Students who wish to work during their stay in Ireland will need to aquire a PPS (Personal Public Service) number. To get a PPS number students will need to apply to BCT for a PPS Letter.
Bank Letter
International Students who wish to set up an Irish bank account may use BCT Institute as a reference.
Medical Insurance
International Students are required by Irish law to have medical insurance. BCT Institute students can avail of Medical Insurance at BCT by filling in a form at the reception office.

Absence due to Illness
Students are required to bring in a doctor's note when they wish to claim absence to illness. No exceptions can be made.

Complaint/Problems
Students who have any complaints or who run into any problems are encouraged to seek out help either by speaking with a BCT tutor/staff member or by filing an official complaint at the reception office. All issues raises by students are treated confidentially and professionally. For further information please read the BCT Complaints Policy.

Lost Computer Login Details
Students who have lost their computer login details can request new login details by filling in a new password form with either their class tutor or at the reception office. Alternatively students can email IT directly for a new password. Please note that the following details must be supplied if you are to email for your password:
- Date
- Full Name
- Student Id
- Login Name
- Course Title
- Your Email Address
